Where Faith Blooms: Khadija Wellness Centre Reminds Muslimahs That Growth Starts with Faith

Lifestyle

Growth is often associated with moving forward, achieving more, and becoming a better version of ourselves. But in the middle of chasing our goals, it can be easy to forget one important thing: staying rooted.

This became the heart of “Where Faith Blooms,” the fourth edition of Majlis Qudwah An-Nisa (MQN) held by Khadija Wellness Centre (KWC) in 2026. In collaboration with Pulpio, the gathering took place at Raya Space, Tebet, South Jakarta, on Sunday (27/9), bringing together more than 50 Muslim women, or Habibaty, along with media, KOLs, guests, and scholarship friends.

With the theme “Menjadi Muslimah yang Bertumbuh, Tanpa Kehilangan Iman” (Growing as a Muslimah Without Losing Faith), the event explored a simple yet meaningful reminder: just like a flower needs strong roots to bloom beautifully, a Muslimah needs faith as her foundation to keep growing through every phase of life.

Growing Is Not Always About Going Further

The afternoon began with a session led by Ustadzah Ummu Ihsan hafidzahallah, who shared three reminders for the attendees.

First, that human beings are valued by Allah not through worldly achievements, but through their level of taqwa. Second, maintaining istiqomah can be more challenging than receiving guidance in the first place. And third, no matter how busy life gets, prayer should remain a priority.

“Jadikan sabar dan sholat sebagai kunci pertolongan,” she reminded the attendees.

In a world that constantly encourages us to do more, be more, and achieve more, the discussion offered a different perspective on self-development. Perhaps growth is not always about adding something to our lives. Sometimes, it is about returning to what truly matters.

For KWC, the gathering was created to be more than just another self-development event. It was an intimate space for Muslimahs to pause, reflect, and reconnect with their faith amid the busyness of everyday life.

From Reflection to Journaling

The reflective atmosphere continued through a journaling session in collaboration with Pulpio, marking KWC’s first collaboration with the platform.

Guided by the event’s MC, Vellya Livy Salsabila, attendees were invited to revisit the lessons from the session through three reflection questions:

  • If your heart were a flower, what is one thing you would do to keep it blooming?
  • What is one simple way to keep your heart at peace amid the never-ending busyness of the world?
  • When things don't go as expected, how do you keep your heart calm and continue to trust Allah?

Rather than simply writing down answers, the participants were encouraged to express their thoughts creatively through journaling and sharing. The session became a gentle reminder that self-reflection can also be a form of nurturing the heart.

The afternoon then continued with a warm gathering and shared meal, allowing the Habibaty, media, KOLs, guests, and scholarship friends to connect in a more intimate setting.

Because Not Every Bloom Has to Be Fast

Through Where Faith Blooms, KWC hopes that the MQN experience can continue to accompany its Habibaty beyond the event itself.

After all, growth does not always have to look like reaching the next milestone or achieving something bigger. Sometimes, growth means learning to be patient. Choosing prayer over panic. Finding peace in uncertainty. And making sure that while life keeps moving, our hearts remain connected to Allah.

As KWC beautifully puts it, a beautiful flower is not the one that blooms the fastest, but the one that grows with strong roots.

And perhaps, that is what growing as a Muslimah truly means: continuing to bloom, while never forgetting where our roots are.
