When it comes to modest fashion, Indonesia and Türkiye are certainly no strangers to one another. Both countries have large modest fashion communities, active fashion industries, and distinct style identities.
Expanding Into the Turkish Market
Now, it’s Buttonscarves’ turn to take the DNA of Indonesian modest fashion further into Türkiye.
After nearly a decade of growing from a scarf brand into a lifestyle brand offering ready-to-wear, bags, footwear, and accessories, Buttonscarves is now strengthening its presence in Türkiye as part of its international expansion beyond Southeast Asia.
“Entering a new market is not only about introducing a brand, but also about understanding its people, culture, and creative community,” said Mifthahul Jannah, Creative Director of Buttonscarves.
Türkiye and Its Growing Modest Fashion Ecosystem
Türkiye has a strong fashion and textile ecosystem. According to Türkiye’s Ministry of Trade, the country is a major global player in the textile and apparel industry, with textile and raw material exports reaching US$9.4 billion and apparel exports reaching US$18.6 billion in 2025.
Launching Buttonscarves’ Turkish Website
Buttonscarves began building its presence in Türkiye earlier this year through digital channels.
One of them is Trendyol, a leading e-commerce platform in Türkiye. Local consumers can now discover and shop Buttonscarves collections more easily, in addition to shopping through buttonscarves.com.tr.
On September 25, 2026, Buttonscarves became the only fashion brand selected to participate in Trendyol Influencer Fest 2026, which brought together around 2,000 participants from Türkiye’s influencer and creative communities.
Celebrating with the Istanbul Series
Buttonscarves’ connection with Türkiye also comes to life through the Istanbul Series. On September 27, 2026, Buttonscarves brought the Istanbul Series to Sofra in Istanbul, an intimate gathering held at Çırağan Palace Kempinski Istanbul.
The gathering brought together fashion and lifestyle influencers, brand owners, and notable figures in Türkiye to get to know Buttonscarves and its collections more closely.
“We are here not only to introduce Buttonscarves to Türkiye, but also to listen, learn, and build genuine relationships. We hope to bring Buttonscarves closer to Türkiye while creating opportunities to introduce Türkiye’s brands, talents, and creativity to Southeast Asia,” said Linda Anggrea, CEO of Modinity Group.
For Buttonscarves, strengthening its presence in Türkiye is part of a larger journey to bring an Indonesian brand onto the global stage. Congratulations Buttonscarves!
